These positions are converted into CHF (for 2012: Classification F4/3 = 2 x CHF 60,686) and transferred to the professor’s cost centre each month. The general terms of employment for research assistants are regulated separately and are mandatory.
Professors will be notified of the status of their budget for research assistants at the beginning and end of the year, as well as in the event of any changes during the year. The budget runs from 1 January to 31 December. Any remaining credit (up to 40%, max. CHF 50,000) can be carried over to the new year. Exceedances will be billed.
